Privacy

On your Mac

Story Bank, preparation, sessions, transcripts, practice answers, feedback and settings are stored locally. The content library is not encrypted. The app does not write raw audio recordings to this library or to disk.

PDF, DOCX and TXT résumé import happens locally. You review extracted text before using it. Importing alone does not upload the document. Story and practice exports create separate, unencrypted text files at your chosen location.

Optional online sharing

The current download is offline. Future AI Practice, spoken-answer transcription and Live each ask for separate permission before sending data through the app’s service to OpenAI.

AI Practice sends selected role, company, résumé text, job description, stories, response-language preference, questions and relevant submitted answers. Spoken Practice sends only the microphone recording you choose to transcribe, up to two minutes; it does not capture system audio or send your library for transcription.

Live sends permitted system audio, microphone audio if enabled, transcripts and your selected preparation context. System audio can include other applications. AI Practice and Live include a pseudonymous license identifier; spoken transcription does not forward it to OpenAI. Unselected stories are not sent.

You control sharing

Spoken Practice holds audio in memory. Upload begins only when you choose to transcribe. Reaching the recording limit stops capture without uploading. You may edit or discard the transcript; it becomes a saved answer only when you choose to use it. Requesting feedback is a separate action.

Revoke any of the three sharing choices in Privacy & data to stop that feature’s current and future sharing. This cannot undo earlier provider processing. macOS permissions and other participants’ permission are separate.

Saved copies and retention

Delete stories, sessions and practices in the app. Copies in other saved items, exports, original résumé files and recovery/system backups may remain. Deleting one copy does not remove the others.

The application service does not persist interview content or audio. OpenAI may retain requests under its API data controls; this is not a zero-retention promise. Licensing and usage records are separate. Monthly usage totals contain the license reference and admitted request/audio counts, not interview content. Production retention and deletion procedures remain to be finalized before online invitations.

Subscriptions and activation

Online access processes license credentials, an installation identifier and transaction/subscription references. Activation credentials are stored separately using operating-system encryption. The service keeps licensing and device records.

Lemon Squeezy handles checkout and subscriptions and receives activation identifiers. The app does not collect payment-card details. Revoking AI permission or deactivating a Mac does not cancel a subscription or erase purchase records.

This website

The public product site has no signup form, advertising trackers or app downloads. The invitation-only review site separately offers an update form and an offline archive. Its form records email, interest, consent version/time and source. Repeating a signup preserves the earlier preferences, including withdrawn or narrower consent.

The private form uses a time-windowed network hash and count for spam protection. Expired counts are removed on a later submission. Browser-practice notes stay in page memory until reset, language change or reload. Copying puts a separate copy on your clipboard. Fonts are hosted with the site.

The language preference is saved in your browser. Sites hosting and private sign-in have separate operational data practices. Contact and unsubscribe handling are still being configured; no release-update emails should be sent before those processes work.

The operator is Technologies Toufic Hajj inc. The public privacy/support mailbox is pending verification. Invited reviewers can contact the organizer through their existing invitation channel. Verified contact details and the final online data-handling notice will be provided before online participation begins.
